St. Petersburg Florida is a unique city located on a peninsula just south of Tampa. Established in 1903 St. Petersburg has a rich history and continues to grow. Even with all it's rapid growth St. Pete still has a small town feel that's easy to fall in love with. People value local business and from food to art there's so much to enjoy here in sunny St. Pete.
You can't talk about St. Pete without talking about the beautiful sandy beaches and blue water. The Gulf area is known for some of the worlds most incredible beaches.

- Madeira Beach
- Redington Beach, Indian Shores, Belleair
- Pass-A-Grille Beach
- Fort Desoto Beach (Tierra Verde)
St. Pete Beach
St. Pete Beach is well known for it's white sand and the Don Cesar; a luxury hotel that opened in 1928. Even if you're not staying these is a beautiful place to see and you can get homemade ice cream in Uncle Andy's Market.

Treasure Island
Not only is Treasure Island another beautiful beach, but there's a lot to do. Deep sea fishing, shopping, food and more. Check out the Thunderbird; a courtyard style beach resort built in 1957. It's hard to miss with it's famous big retro bird sign on the front of the building.

Madeira Beach
Right down the road from Treasure Island is Madiera Beach. Home to a great boardwalk called John's Pass. It's the perfect way to spend the evening after a day in the sun and one of areas biggest tourist attractions. In 1848 a hurraince came through the area and created the "Pass", which was was later discovered by a pirate named John Levique. Pretty cool, right?

Redington Beach, Indian Shores, Belleair
If you're looking for a more residential beach community these areas would be great for you. They are located just north of Madiera beach. All three have pretty active communities and could be a great place if you wanted to live near the beach, but didn't want as much tourist action.
Pass-A-Grille Beach
Let's start by heading down the Pinellas Bay Way. When you see the Don Cesar most people know it's time to turn right and head to St. Pete Beach, but if you hang a left instead you'll find yourself in Pass-A-Grille.
Beautiful homes, great seafood and long beach. It's a quaint little town and if you enjoy a walkable beach town, you found it. Paradise Grille offers a great breakfast and you can sit right on the beach. Make sure you stop by the marina if you want to see some of the local pelicans.

Fort De Soto Park
Last but definitely not least is Fort De Soto Park in Tierra Verde. If you enjoy nature you will fall in love with this beach made up of 1,136 acres of five interconnected keys. With over 7 miles of waterfront and 3 miles of beach you're sure to find a spot to relax for the day. The north beach and east beach are connected by 7 miles of paved nature trails. There's also a dog park for your furry friends.
